The Best of Valley of Fire State Park

Hiking the Makapu’u’ Tide Pools
Our favorite snorkeling spot on Oahu is a hidden location off of the Makapu'u' Lighthouse Trail. This gorgeous secluded spot is worth the hike down and has some gorgeous reefs and fish. You'll find tide pools, an amazing view, and multiple blow holes at the bottom.

Winter at Paradise, Mount Rainier

Heather Lake Trail is the most beautiful trail I've ever seen in the winter time. This trail is not too long or too hard, is dog friendly, and offers stunning views.

Sleeping Beauty Trail
Sleeping Beauty Trail is located up near Mount Adams in the Gifford-Pinchot National Forest. It offers 360 views of Mount Adams, Mount Rainier, Mount Hood and Mount St.Helens. This trail is rated as moderate and is one of the prettiest we have done in Washington.

Horsethief Butte Trail
This hike is easy and provides an amazing view of the Columbia River Gorge. It only took us about 25 minutes to do and is right off the highway. I use the All Trails App for trail info and directions!

Little Si Trail
Little Si is one of the prettiest hikes in Washington and it is a moderate 4.5 mile out and back trail that is dog friendly. Located in North Bend and suitable for kids a bit older (our 7 year old did it).

Devil’s Cauldron Hike
Devil's Cauldron is one of the prettiest views I've seen living in the Pacific Northwest! This gorgeous hike is on the Oregon Coast not too far south from Cannon Beach. Here is info about the hike and where to find it!
