Horsethief Butte Trail

This hike is easy and provides an amazing view of the Columbia River Gorge. It only took us about 25 minutes to do and is right off the highway. I use the All Trails App for trail info and directions! A Discover Pass is required ($30/year or $10/day pass).

There is a moderate sized parking lot, and when we went we were the only ones there.

I never knew Eastern Washington was so different. When we did this hike it was 103 degrees in July and reminded us so much of New Mexico (where we lived before WA). Its such a pretty hike for a different view.

The view is gorgeous of the Columbia River. Across from this hike is the State Park recreation area where we took a swim after this hike.
