Visiting Vancouver, Washington

We visited Vancouver on our way down to drive the Columbia River Gorge. We just did a quick stop but here are a few things to check out while you’re visiting.

First thing we did was walk around downtown and by the water front.

I am a sucker for murals and downtown Vancouver has a TON!

The waterfront is gorgeous!

Make sure to check out the land bridge! It is a really cool piece of architecture full of history about the area. The land bridge connects the waterfront to the large park and Fort Vancouver on the other side of the interstate. Here is a cool overlook photo via google.

Unfortunately Fort Vancouver was closed the day we visited, but it looks really cool and would make a fun historical spot.

We grabbed lunch at Amaro’s Table. They are pet friendly on the large patio they have in the back.

Travis and I ordered the Beef Tenderloin Medallions to split and they divided in into two plates for us. It was delicious! We also grabbed an Ahi Tuna Roll Sushi plate for an appetizer.

We had to stop for a quick sweet before getting back on the road so we ran into Fleur Chocolate for a truffle. They also have smoothies, coffee, and more.
