Powellswood Garden is a small estate but is a charming garden perfect for a summer picnic.

Powellswood Garden is open Tuesday through Saturday 10am – 3pm. Admission is $7 for adults and FREE for children 12 and under. Entry is based on an honor system. You can leave cash in the box at the entry or pay online on thier website. There is plenty of grass for a picnic or to let the kids run around and play in.

While there’s plenty of grass for a picnic there are also some bistro tables and chairs to sit for lunch.

Keep an eye on the little creek running through the gardens, we saw a bunny chowing down when we visited.
