Seattle for Starbucks Lovers

My love for Starbucks is no secret. I’ve been a customer for a long, long time. So naturally when I found out we were moving to where the company started, it was top of my list to see first! Here are the places in Seattle you should visit if you are a lover of Starbucks.

Starbucks Reserve Roastery
1124 Pike Street
Seattle, WA 98101

The Starbucks Reserve Roastery is like nothing I’ve ever seen before. It’s a roastery, a coffee shop, a retail store….it is an entire experience. There are only a few worldwide.

The first thing I loved about visiting is that you can see them roasting the coffee. The gentlemen roasting was telling us exactly what he was doing and about the process from bean to bag. You can buy the coffee direct from the roastery fresh roasted.

You can order freshly scooped coffee at the “Scoop Bar”. You can also order specialty coffee drinks at the “Mixology Bar” and you can learn more about Coffee and drinks at the “Experience Bar”.

Of course you can order food here too! These menus are incredible and these are like normal Starbucks menu. They have multiple areas to order food, drink, and specialty items here.

We ordered a slice of pizza, a lemon blueberry tart, and this nutella puff pastry deliciousness.

I honestly don’t remember what Coffee I ordered. It was something Vanilla Hazelnut and it was very rich, I loved it! On another visit I ordered a coffee flight that came with a chocolate truffle for each coffee flavor.

Of course they have exclusive roastery merchandise as well.

Original Starbucks Store
1912 Pike Place
Seattle, WA 98101

The original Starbucks in Pike Place Market is a must see! My suggestion? Go before 8:30 am. The market opens at 9 am and it gets very crowded after that time. This location is the very first Starbucks Cafe (IE: served coffee drinks and not just bagged coffee). It still holds the original design and they’ve kept the historic look and feel inside too. You are going to wait in a long line, so just be prepared.

Here you can see old newspaper articles, original logos, and of course purchase exclusive Pike Place merchandise. They have a regular menu here.
