Hilton Waikiki Beach - Olivia Michelle

We booked our most recent trip to Hawaii through Costco Travel. We decided on the Hilton Waikiki Beach since it looked so nice, was located close to the beach, and had a reasonable price point! Here is a little bit about our experience and what amenities the hotel has to offer.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Waikiki Beach. Its a very nice hotel and is within walking distance to everything you’d want to do in Waikiki! The beach is less than a ten minute walk.

We went at Christmas time so the hotel was beautifully decorated and very festive. They also had special events like donut decorating, yoga by the pool, and they put little stockings filled with candy on every door Christmas day.

At check in you will receive vouchers. These will get you two drinks per day from the gift shop for FREE. You can get bottled water or soda.

We didn’t have a beach view, we had a view of the gorgeous garden/gazebo area down below.

The room was really nice and clean. We had two queen beds.

Hilton Waikiki Beach has a great rooftop pool and hot tub. I loved the view and the gazebos you can lounge in.

The hotel has towels you can check out with your room key and take to the pool or beach. They have trackers in them so it will keep track of how many you take out and when they are returned. There is a towel machine downstairs in the lobby and another one up by the pool.

Every room has a DVD player. You have unlimited access to check out DVD’s with a special card they will give you at check in. The machines are located on the second floor by the stairs.

As far as food options, Hilton Waikiki Beach has a bar, a restaurant, a coffee shop/bakery and a pool side bar/cafe.

Mac 24/7 is located inside the lobby. As you could’ve guessed, it is open 24 hours per day, 7 days a week. There is a bar/diner section as well as a nice sit down dinner table area overlooking the beautiful garden.

If you’re feeling extra hungry try one of the challenges! The Mac Daddy Pancake Challenge is a 5 lb stack of pancakes you need to finish in under 90 minutes and it’s free! The MAC Momma Cheeseburger Challenge is a 5 lb cheeseburger you’ll need to finish in under 45 minutes. Complete either of these and your photo will be hung up in the hall of fame!

We also enjoyed the large drinks, I ordered a Blue Hawaiian and Travis grabbed the Lava Lava Rocks.

I ordered the Surf N Turf and Travis got the Aloha Mac. My dish was absolutely delicious! Some of the best shrimp I’ve ever had and my steak was cooked perfect. Travis’ dish was basically a Hawaiian BBQ extravaganza with ribs, chicken, and ahi tuna.

We had plenty of leftovers to take back to the room as they were generous sized portions.

The coffee shop serves Starbucks Coffee and is located inside the lobby close to the elevators. They have baked goods, sandwiches, and fresh fruit for food options.
