Rosario Head Trail
Rosario Head Trail offers an unforgettable view of Deception Pass and all of it's beauty. We have done it several times and besides the views, there are tons of activities you can do inside Deception Pass State Park as well.

Deception Pass Boat Tour
Deception Pass is by far my favorite state park in Washington. We have been multiple times and each time we visit are amazed by the beauty of the area. Instead of hiking again we decided to tour by boat and took a Jet boat tour with Deception Pass Tours.

Heather Lake Trail
Heather Lake Trail is the most beautiful trail I've ever seen in the winter time. This trail is not too long or too hard, is dog friendly, and offers stunning views.
-
Iverson Spit Preserve
This hike is a must do on your visit to Camano Island. This loop is known for its bird watching, and I'm honestly not sure I've ever seen more birds on a single day in my life. There is access to the beach and it is beautiful! Here is what you need to know about hiking Iverson Spit Preserve Loop.
-
Mount Ellinor Trail
Mount Ellinor trail is one of the hardest trail I've ever done. Not for the faint of heart, its views are rumored to be the prettiest in Washington. Unfortunate for us it was cloudy the day we went but it was still pretty. Here is info about the hike and what you need to know before you go.
-
Lake Cushman
Lake Cushman is one of my favorite lakes in Washington and is a must do for its beautiful views and not-so-chilly water. It is located close to the southern part of Olympic National Park. We stopped at a day use area to enjoy the water, eat a picnic lunch, and use our new kayak.
-
Coldwater Lake Trail
Coldwater Lake is one of my favorite lakes to explore in Washington. It is so pretty it looks like a postcard. Our last trip to Mount St. Helens we decided to do the trail around the lake and hang out in the water for a bit. Here is some info on the trail and other things about visiting the area.

Sleeping Beauty Trail
Sleeping Beauty Trail is located up near Mount Adams in the Gifford-Pinchot National Forest. It offers 360 views of Mount Adams, Mount Rainier, Mount Hood and Mount St.Helens. This trail is rated as moderate and is one of the prettiest we have done in Washington.
-
Horsethief Butte Trail
This hike is easy and provides an amazing view of the Columbia River Gorge. It only took us about 25 minutes to do and is right off the highway. I use the All Trails App for trail info and directions!
