Sequalitchew Trail is an easy out and back trail that leads down to the beautiful Puget Sound. It is mostly shaded and the first mile and a half is sidewalk. To get to the trail, you can follow directions to the Dupont Police Department. This is where you will park!

The trail starts out with gravel, is really wide, and does turn into a cement sidewalk. There is plenty of space and usually quite a few people walking and biking.

You’ll come to a fork, go left and follow the trail signs!

The trail is mostly shaded, so its a gorgeous walk!

Dogs are welcome on a leash! There is a trash can and poop bag dispenser at the beginning of the trail.

Right before you get to the beach there is a large trail tunnel to walk through. Go left, the right side has some broken tracks.

The beach is absolutely gorgeous. There is plenty of room to spread out if you go at low tide (which I’d recommend). Google tide charts for DuPont and the day you plan to go.

If you go at low tide, flip over the rocks and you’ll find crabs, small fish, and more! It’s especially fun for the kiddos.

Finding the fun everywhere life takes us!
