Have you ever seen a concrete ship? How about a sunken ship? During the war steel hard to come by so a company built some ships out of cement. This one ran aground in Dupont. It is a little difficult to get to but its worth it!

The story of the building is an interesting read. An angry father betrayed by his daughter eloping with a servants son. The father murdered his son in law and became the first man to be legally executed in Oregon in 1859

Exploring the Old Town district of Tacoma
Old Town" Tacoma is actually where the town started. This area is small but fiercely beautiful. It's on the outskirts of the hustle and bustle of downtown. Here you'll find old houses full of charm and a view of the Puget sound for miles.

Shopping Antique Row in Tacoma
You can find tons of Antique and vintage shops around the area. If you want to hit a ton of shops without having to find another parking space then Antique Row is where you need to go.

Sunnyside Beach in Steilacoom
Only in the PNW can you have both the mountains and the beach. This beach is so gorgeous with a view of the mountains and other islands in the distance from the shore. There is also a ton of ocean life to explore.
