Visiting Wolf Haven International

If you are looking for something really unique to do in the area, then this is it! Wolf Haven International is located about 30 minutes south of JBLM in Tenino. You must make reservations ahead of time so this is not somewhere you can go on a whim. Tickets are $11 per adult with a military discount and $7.50 for youth. Children under 3 are free.

The tour takes about an hour. I will say it is a lot of talking and a little wolves. Aurora, and even I, got a little bored with all the talking.

They’ll give you lots of history about wolves and which species are endangered. It’s a lot of good and interesting information there just isn’t anything to do while you are standing around.

You’ll get to walk over to each habitat and check out the wolves inside. I was surprised that quite a few of the wolves came over to check us out and hang out near the front of the enclosure.

We also found some wolves lounging that couldn’t care less there was a crowd of humans around.

Quite a few of these wolves have been rescued from previous pet ownership.

They also have a small small gift shop you can grab some souvenirs at.

This is fun fun for a short trip and fun experience!

Finding the fun everywhere life takes us!
Love, Olivia Michelle
