A Guide to Oregon’s Columbia River Gorge Waterfalls
The Columbia River Gorge offers an abundance of beautiful waterfalls. At one point on the Cascades Highway they are literally every twenty feet! You couldn't possibly stop at all of them in one day but these are my favorites and in my opinion, the best to stop at.

Multnomah Falls is the tallest waterfall in Oregon, plummeting over 620 feet. For that reason, it is a very popular stop along the Columbia River Gorge It is one of my favorites and I definitely recommend making a stop. Here is what you need to know before you go and what to expect.

Wahclella Falls Trail
This trail is a bit of a walk compared to the majority of the Columbia River Gorge hikes since it is not right off the road. But trust me when I tell you that it is worth it, and was honestly my favorite that we stopped at. Here is info you need to know before you head out on the trail.

Beacon Rock Trail
Beacon Rock Trail had been on my list for a long time and I finally got the chance to do it. It has stunning views of the Columbia River Gorge. I definitely recommend going on a clear day to take in the breathtaking views on this dog friendly, short but steep hike.

Snowshoe Trip to Mount Rainier with Outdoor Rec at Joint Base Lewis-McChord
The Northwest Adventure Center is located on North Fort Lewis and does all kinds of guided trips including photography, sight-seeing, climbing, camping, hiking, snowshoeing, etc. I had seen the trips advertised but just never signed up for one until recently. I highly recommend doing a trip with them because we had a blast! Here was our experience and what to expect.

Rattlesnake Ledge
Rattlesnake Lake is one of the beautiful lakes we have here in the Pacific Northwest. The lake offers a day use recreation area with a boat launch, beach, picnic tables, walking trails, swimming and a hiking trail. At the very top of this mountain there is a beautiful ledge overlooking the lake and its views are astounding. This trail is perfect for our upcoming beautiful summer weather.
