Blue Elk Inn Leavenworth
Leavenworth is my favorite town to visit in Washington! This cute Bavarian village is set on the base of some gorgeous mountains, making it really look like Europe. From the giant pretzels to the Bavarian painted buildings and architecture, there is a ton to do and see. If you're looking for a place to stay, then I highly recommend the newly remodeled Blue Elk Inn.

Friday Harbor, San Juan Island

English Camp is a historic fort where the British soldiers occupied the North side of the island. This was when countries were still trying to decide what country the San Juan Islands belonged to. You can walk the grounds and see the old buildings.

American Camp, San Juan Island
American Camp is one of the two historical camps on the island from when the country owning the San Juan Islands was yet to be determined. America occupied the South part of the island while the British occupied the North part. American Camp is whats left of the historic buildings and lots of trails.
