Blue Elk Inn Leavenworth

Leavenworth is my favorite town to visit in Washington! This cute Bavarian village is set on the base of some gorgeous mountains, making it really look like Europe. From the giant pretzels to the Bavarian painted buildings and architecture, there is a ton to do and see. If you’re looking for a place to stay, then I highly recommend the newly remodeled Blue Elk Inn.

Though this stay was complimentary, all opinions and photos are my own. This post may contain affiliate links. This means that I may receive a small commission if you make a purchase through the links in this article.

Blue Elk Inn
500 Alpine Place, Leavenworth WA
The Blue Elk Inn is very close to town but just far enough where you have a nice quiet space and don’t hear all the hustle and bustle of traffic. Newly remodeled, they offer regular rooms as well as family suites. Dog (small fee) and kid friendly. Free parking is available at the hotel.

Front of Hotel

Blue Elk Inn also features the fun Bavarian themed style that most places have in Leavenworth. The lower level rooms on the front each have their own patio and fire pit. When I visited, it was with two girlfriends for a girls trip! They do have luggage carts and an elevator (for those of us that don’t pack light).

If you’d like to ditch your car, borrow a bicycle to ride into town! Even better, go on a ride down to the gorgeous riverside park on Blackbird Island.

Living Room

I was pleasantly surprised at the large spacious two bedroom suite which we had for the weekend. An electric fireplace and large screen TV with multiple couches were set up in the living room.

Kitchen

The full size kitchen was large and had every appliance necessary to cook a meal just like at home. Oven, microwave, stove, coffee maker, blender, pots, pans, toaster, etc. They also put careful thought into providing coffee, creamer, dishwasher detergent, towels, and more.

Laundry

Another great amenity was the washer and dryer in the room! They did provide some detergent pods if you needed them.

Master Bed

The master room had its own balcony, TV, and bathroom.

They left us this cute Leavenworth postcard to take home.

Master Bathroom

Also a thoughtful touch, they provided a black wash cloth and make up remover wipe. This is great to wash your face and take make up off with (the black doesn’t stain when removing make up).

Master Closet

We had a nice size closet in the master, which was great since we packed way more clothes than necessary! Hangers were provided.

Master Bedroom Balcony
Extra Bathroom

The second bathroom was much bigger and provided plenty of space.

Dining Room

There was a full size dining table and dining room. The two bedroom suite is definitely perfect for families.

We loved the old fashioned telephone in the room. It works!

Second Bedroom
Balcony

The living room also had a balcony facing the backyard and pool/hot tub.

View from our balcony

The back of the hotel has a large fenced in yard with fire pits, a grill, horseshoe pits, many seating areas, a pool and a hot tub.

Lobby
Breakfast Area

The lobby has a large breakfast area which is usually where they serve a breakfast buffet. When we visited it was a bit different (thanks Corona) so they delivered pre-packaged meals to our door each morning. This was perfect for us though, and it provided plenty of food!

Pool

The pool is large and offers a fun “calm” sign. My favorite was the hot tub, which we made sure to visit every night.

Outdoor seating area

We had a fantastic experience staying at the Blue Elk Inn and will be visiting again soon! To view more info or book your stay, visit Blue Elk Inn’s website HERE.
