Custom Invitations with Basic Invite

I recently discovered Basic Invite, an online stationary and invitation retailer. They have tons of invitation types including occasions like weddings, birthdays, graduations, baby announcements and more. I’m going to share some of my favorite reasons for using them for my invites and some custom designs that I personalized from their website below.

My thirtieth birthday is coming up on March 29th so I was excited to partner with Basic Invite for my birthday party invitations. They have thousands of invitations to choose from, but you can also upload your own design to order as well. Below were my top three designs for my party from their website. My birthday is a masquerade theme and is also a going away since we will be moving overseas shortly after.

Once you choose a design you can edit and change all of the colors for the text and design as well as the font style and size. Basic Invite has over forty different colors of envelopes too! I love having the option to match the envelope to your invitation to make it stand out in the mail. Whatever color you choose, all envelopes are peel and seal for easy (and saliva free) mailing.

Speaking of mailing, Basic Invite makes it really easy for you! You can have your return address and the recipient’s address printed on the envelopes if you want. Best part?! It is FREE! They even go as far as mailing out the invitations for you (for an additional charge). If you don’t have everyone’s address, Basic Invite will give you a link to share on social media so your friends and family can enter their address so it shows up automatically in your account when you go to order the invites.

Travis and I celebrated our ten year wedding anniversary last August with a Vow Renewal at one of our favorite beaches in Hawaii. While we personally chose to do a private ceremony, Basic Invite had quite a few invitation designs that would have been perfect for inviting guests. We had our ceremony on our favorite beach, Ko’Olina Lagoon, at Disney’s Aulani Resort & Spa in Hawaii. My favorite color is pink, so the colors were pink and white with tropical palm and monstera leaves. We also added some touches of Disney because I love it so much.

Basic Invite has over 180 colors to choose from for customizing your invitations. They had every shade of pink I could imagine! The best part is that you can order a sample of your invitation to make sure everything is perfect and colors are exactly what you want before actually placing your big order. I thought this flamingo design was so cute for a tropical wedding!

This monstera and palm leaf wedding invite would’ve been perfect for our vow renewal. I am a big match-matchy person, so I also loved the fact that Basic Invite has matching designs of save the dates, invitations, wedding programs, thank you cards, and table cards to complete everything you need for the big day. They even have wedding website designs to match.
