My Golden Birthday Party

This year I’m turning 29 on March 29th, its my Golden Birthday! Your “golden birthday” is the year you turn the age of the date of your birth. To celebrate I invited some of my friends to attend a party in the park. My color scheme was gold, pink, and rose gold.

29th birthday party

I’ve always wanted to have a party inside of a tent and Soiree Society PNW made all of my dreams come true! They had lots of options for set up, and they staged the tent with all of the furniture. I did not have to set up or tear down. All I had to do was bring my decor, food, and friends.

I told Soiree Society my party theme and they had some of my colors they were able to coordinate with (those super cute pink fluffy stools!) They provide service all over Washington.

For food I went with a charcuterie tray, cake, dessert tray, sandwiches, personalized cookies and candy.

My birthday cake is actually from Walmart! This design was one available in their catalog and I changed the colors to match my party colors. I did a whipped buttercream with strawberry filling and it was delicious. Can you believe it was only $18?!

My cookies turned out beautifully! I went with a local gal, Caits in the Kitchen. Not only were they decorated fantastic but they tasted great as well. She does custom cookie orders out of her home in DuPont.

Number Charcuterie tray

How amazing is this “29” charcuterie?! I went through Adore Boards LLC out of Steilacoom, Washington. She asked my theme and catered to my meat and cheese choices. There were absolutely NO leftovers.

For drinks I had water, sparkling grape juice, and wine. For favors I used modge podge and glitter to cover wine bottles and attaches a tulle bow and thank you card.

My favorite part of my birthday party was when we went around the room and each of my friend stated how they met me and their favorite memory with me. Needless to say I have discovered I’m a very clumsy person.
