Things to do in Amarillo, Texas
They say say everything is bigger in Texas and I completely agree. Amarillo is one of the closest big cities to where we lived at Cannon Air Force Base so we traveled often over the years. Here are some things we had fun doing

Date Night Restaurants in Tacoma
Of course we all love our kiddos, but sometimes it's nice to have a dinner without tantrums, begging them to eat, and listening to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse playing on your phone. So here's some restaurants I recommend for date nights in the Tacoma (in no particular order)!

Things to do in Roswell, New Mexico
If you are an alien then you most likely arrived here on earth when your UFO crashed in Roswell in 1947. If you're headed back to visit or to fix up your ship so you can finally go home, I've got some recommendations on things to do in the area.

Activities for Kids in Clovis, New Mexico
When we arrived at Cannon Air Force Base in 2015 there was not a lot for kiddos to do, indoors in particular. Lots of days it will be too cold, too hot or too windy to play outside so thankfully there are quite a few options now!

Shopping in Snohomish
Historic Downtown Snohomish is one of the cutest towns we have visited so far in Washington! They have so many shops to browse and quite a few local restaurants, bakeries, and coffee shops. Visit this cute town approximately an hour and a half away from Joint Base Lewis-McChord.

Eight Things You Must Do While Visiting Seattle
Seattle is easily recognized by the Space Needle but there is so much more to the city than that! We live just 45 minutes from the Seattle so we are able to visit often. Whether you're going for the weekend or just a day, here's some things we love to do!

Things to do in the Tacoma Museum District
The Museum district of Tacoma is primarily located on Pacific Avenue. There are quite a few museums to choose from and plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, and stores to browse. Conveniently located next to public transportation and lots of parking lots, this is a happening area. There are lots of students around since the campus is also located here.

Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival
I'm so glad we were able to make it the last weekend this year. The beauty of these flowers is unlike anything I've ever seen before. The colors pop against the green and the background of the mountains. It is so beautiful.

Things to do in the Tacoma Stadium District
Tacoma is much bigger than I expected it to be, but ever since we moved here it keeps drawing me back. It is made up of quite a few districts. There is tons to see and do inside each area so I'm going to share a few of my favorites inside the Stadium District!

Pretty Gritty Tours: Stadium High School Tour
Walking around Tacoma you'll spot this gorgeous old castle-esque building and wonder what it is. Though it wasn't mean to be, it is actually a public high school! Stadium High School is most recognized by its role in the 1999 hit movie "10 Things I Hate About You" with Julia Stiles and Heath Ledger. We got to go inside the school and explore the attics, basement, and hear the history. Here's what we thought about our Stadium High Tour with Pretty Gritty Tours!
