Hidden Gems in Clovis, New Mexico
You'll never end up in Clovis, New Mexico on vacation. If you are in Clovis, it's because you live here. It's not a stop on the way to a vacation spot and it's not anywhere you would actually want to visit. So if you're reading this, I know you're a resident. Don't fret, I've got the low down on the hidden gems that will make you feel good about your time in Clovis whether it's for a year or two or twelve. Surviving Cannon Air Force Base one Coffee Shop at a time
Coffee is life, and I'm filling you in on the local coffee shops to keep your sanity during your time at Cannon. While Clovis lacks options for shopping, it actually has an abundance of coffee shops. Our squadron wives meet every Wednesday morning for coffee and we alternate shops so I have been to all of these!

Things to do in the Tacoma Museum District
The Museum district of Tacoma is primarily located on Pacific Avenue. There are quite a few museums to choose from and plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, and stores to browse. Conveniently located next to public transportation and lots of parking lots, this is a happening area. There are lots of students around since the campus is also located here.

Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival
I'm so glad we were able to make it the last weekend this year. The beauty of these flowers is unlike anything I've ever seen before. The colors pop against the green and the background of the mountains. It is so beautiful.
