The Museum of Pop Culture (better known as MoPop) is one of my favorite museums to visit in Seattle. We visited again recently for the new addition of the Disney Heroes & Villains Exhibit. Here's what you need to know before visiting and info on the exhibits.

Children’s Museum of Tacoma
The Childrens Museum of Tacoma is a great place to head on a rainy day (which we have a lot of here). I think it has many opportunities of play for a wide array of ages. The best part is that this museum is that it's actually free!

Aurora’s Mermazing 7th Birthday
When I asked Aurora where she wanted to have her seventh birthday party she immediately said the Hands On Children's Museum! The party prices are actually a lot more reasonable than others we have looked into and this museum is by far the best children's museum we've ever visited! Here is our experience with having her party there as well as local vendors we used for the food and where we got our mermaid party supplies!

What to do in Lubbock, Texas
You have probably heard of Lubbock because it is home to Texas Tech University. If you're driving cross country on I-10 you will pass through this city in the middle of nowhere. I've got a few must-do's for the area to fill you in on, besides the obvious of what I do (shopping).

Things to do in the Tacoma Museum District
The Museum district of Tacoma is primarily located on Pacific Avenue. There are quite a few museums to choose from and plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, and stores to browse. Conveniently located next to public transportation and lots of parking lots, this is a happening area. There are lots of students around since the campus is also located here.
