Coachman Inn, Whidbey Island
Coachman Inn is a family friendly hotel located in the town of Oak Harbor on Whidbey Island. We stayed for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. Read all about our stay and what amenities Coachman Inn has to offer.
Though our stay was complimentary, all opinions and photos are my own.

The Coachman Inn has been voted the “Best on Whidbey” for over ten years, and I agree! The hotel is conveniently located, family friendly, dog friendly, and offers some great amenities.
We called upon arriving to Whidbey Island and our room was ready for us a little bit early. Normally, check in is at 3:00pm.
The lobby has a small snack bar if you find you’re in need of some food in a pinch.
We stayed in the two bedroom suite and I was VERY impressed. It was very spacious, much more like an apartment than a hotel room. We had a large living room, TV’s in both bedrooms, a dining area, and a full kitchen.
Though Muffin stayed at home this trip (he usually always travels with us) Coachman Inn has certain rooms that are dog friendly! Call to book a dog friendly room. See details on Reservations with Pets HERE.
The master bathroom had a large jacuzzi tub in it that we enjoyed taking baths in!
The kitchen was a little outdated, but it was perfect for what we needed. A full kitchen stocked with all the cookware we’d need to make a meal during our stay.
We also had our own washer and dryer in the room so we could do laundry if needed.
Our room was great, but I’ll admit our favorite part was by far the pool and hot tubs! The pool is heated to a lovely 82 degrees so we were able to enjoy it when we visited in the cool fall weather.
There is also not one, but TWO hot tubs available to soak in. I call them “Mommy Pools”.
Hot apple cider, tea, and coffee are available 24/7 in the lobby. Each evening they put out yummy fresh baked cookies for you to grab. Our favorite was the spice cookie.
A hot breakfast buffet was also included in our stay. Due to COVID precautions, we were able to order whatever we wanted and the employees prepared and packaged our food in containers for us to take back to the room and enjoy. We enjoyed waffles, breakfast croissants, sausage gravy biscuits, fruit, yogurt, and drinks when we visited.
We had a wonderful stay at the Coachman Inn and will definitely be visiting again! From the spacious rooms, reasonable prices, and family friendly atmosphere, it was worth it.
