Hours
The Seattle Aquarium is open daily 9:30 am to 5 pm.
From the outside the aquarium does not look that big but it has multiple stories and has a lot of exhibits for it’s size. I would recommend planning around 3 hours for the aquarium.
The Seattle Aquarium has multiple touch pools for the kiddos. All I can think of when I see them is the scene in Finding Dory where they are all screaming and hiding from the fingers.
Exhibits include Pacific Northwest animals and simulated beaches containing birds, sea life, fish, and more.
It’s a cuddle party! The aquarium has both river otters and ocean otters which is basically my favorite in the aquarium.
The aquarium also has two different kinds of seals. Harbor seals and seals that you would see locally in our area.
This exhibit is the coolest in my opinion. Its a large underwater viewing area where you can see underneath the huge aquarium. Its almost 360 viewing besides the walkways. You can see shark, fish, stingrays, and more.
Another cool exhibit is the waters of Hawaii. This is where you can see all the tropical fish and coral and your favorite, Nemo!
The Seattle Aquarium also has a small gift shops with lots of goodies to choose from.
