The Post Hotel
The Post Hotel is hands down the most extravagant hotel I’ve ever stayed at. This beautiful resort is located along the Wenatchee river in my favorite town in Washington, Leavenworth. This adults only resort is worth the pretty penny you’ll pay to stay here.

The Post Hotel will run you around $455-685+ per night. Its worth it! we stayed one night for a couple’s getaway while my Mom was visiting to watch Aurora. On the day of check in you can access the amenities around 3-4pm. You room may not be ready yet but they will text you when it is and go ahead and provide your room keys and parking access. You also have the option to book a Spa Appointment the day of your arrival so you can access the resort even earlier (that’s what we did).

Included in the price of your hotel stay is parking, access to all pools and saunas, breakfast, lunch, nightly dessert, free wifi, coffee and tea, and free rentals of equipment during your stay. Equipment changes seasonally but may include snowshoes, bicycles, etc. So your room charge actually covers quite a bit.
Also included in your resort stay are these large fluffy robes and complimentary slippers. What I love most is that everyone wears them around the resort. To the included meals and around the resort, in the spa.
We started our trip with a couples massage at the Spa on the day we were checking in. It was more expensive than a local spa too but it was phenomenal. The spa facilities are also incredible. There is a shower and sauna inside the spa restrooms.

The spa area is just as gorgeous as the rest of the resort. While you’re waiting for your treatment you can lounge on these chaise’s with your own fur blanket and fireplace with a gorgeous mountain view.
We stayed in the Juliet Room. We had a gorgeous view of the mountains with two French doors that opened to a balcony. One king size bed, a stand alone tub, shower and fireplace with a couch. The rooms do have a mini fridge but no microwave. View the different rooms on the website HERE.
The room is beautiful. Everything was clean and decorated so elegantly.
You will have these two stainless steels bottles available for your use and complimentary to take home after your stay. They came in handy to use since they have water dispensers around the hotel to refill them.
You cant help but be amazed by the gorgeous view you’ll wake up to during your stay.
The real show stopper at the Post Hotel isn’t your room though, its the pool area. The pool is a giant indoor and outdoor dreamscape with multiple hot tubs and saunas. This massive area takes up the entire bottom floor and has options for everyone.
These stepping pools are really cool. They each have different temperatures and different textures on the bottom.
If you want one of the big lounger chairs get there early. The pool area opens at 7am. There are towels done there for your use. Check out the Post Hotel’s Website HERE.
There are over 8 steam rooms and saunas, all with their own theme and intensity. My personal favorite was the cool sauna. It had mint and eucalyptus and is so refreshing, especially after being in a hot sauna.
Post Hotel also has these cold plunge pools to dip in after the hot saunas.
If you thought the pool and wellness area couldn’t get any better, here’s the best part. This is the “Nap Room”.
As I mentioned before, your stay at the Post includes breakfast, lunch, nightly dessert and unlimited coffee and tea. The menu changes so you don’t need to worry about eating the same thing over and over. Everything is prepared in house. You can dine in the dining area or have the food brought up to your room. All of the food we ate at the resort was delicious.
We had an amazing time staying at the resort and I cant wait to go back and experience it in the Summer! If you are looking for things to do during your stay in Leavenworth, check out my other posts:
