Aurora’s Mermazing 7th Birthday
When I asked Aurora where she wanted to have her seventh birthday party she immediately said the Hands On Children's Museum! The party prices are actually a lot more reasonable than others we have looked into and this museum is by far the best children's museum we've ever visited! Here is our experience with having her party there as well as local vendors we used for the food and where we got our mermaid party supplies!

A Visit to Evergreen Valley Lavender Farm
If you are looking for a Lavender Farm to visit closer to home, then Evergreen Valley is a must do! This farm is located in Olympia just thirty minutes from JBLM. Best part? You can see Tow Mater from Cars!

Historic Downtown Olympia
Olympia is the capital of Washington, which I had since forgotten from….what grade did we have to memorize state capitals? It's a gorgeous small town on the coast of Washington. It's full of charm and is one of my favorite places to visit since it's just twenty minutes from us.
