Seattle for Amazon Junkies
Hello. My name is Olivia and I’m addicted to Amazon Prime. Okay, seriously though, I order a ton on Amazon. Living so close to Seattle naturally I wanted to visit Amazon Headquarters and the fun stores they have in the area (yes an actual Amazon Store!) Here are some places to see f you’re an Amazon Junkie like me!

As I mentioned I am an AVID Amazon shopper! I’ve made a few lists of all of my favorite products that I personally use daily which you can view and shop HERE.
Amazon Spheres
2111 7th Avenue
Seattle, WA 98121
The Amazon Spheres are these really cool giant glass buildings (in the shape of a sphere) connected to Amazon Headquarters. You need to go check them out and snap some photos out front!
There are a few ways to get inside the Spheres and be able to look around (besides getting hired at Amazon!) The first is the Understory. The Understory is an exhibit located on the first floor inside one of the spheres that talks about the purpose and design of the spheres.
There are a few hands on activities inside as well as the plants that are featured inside the Spheres. The buildings act like a greenhouse with the glass. They were designed that way.
For more info on The Understory, click here.
The other way you can get into The Spheres is the free monthly tour they offer! I have yet to be able to go because they are only offered the first and third Saturday each month. You can only sign up 30 days in advance. When I do the tour, I’ll fill y’all in!

Amazon 4 Star
2101 Westlake Avenue
Seattle, WA 98121
Did you know there’s an Amazon store that you can actually shop in?! Go see all of Amazon’s best selling products in person. Everything in the store is rated 4-5 stars by users.
Best part about shopping here is no waiting for shipping! You get to take the items home with you. You’ll check out directly with your Amazon app, no wallet needed.

Amazon Go
2131 Seventh Avenue
Seattle, WA 98121
This is one of the coolest stores I’ve ever seen and I know the worker restocking the shelves was laughing at me taking photos and videos. This store has no workers and no check out lines. To get inside you pull up your Amazon App and select the QR code for Amazon Go. Scan the code to walk inside.
Amazon Go is basically a grab and go grocery store. They also have a small selection of basics like phone cords, souvenir items, and meal kits.
When you leave you scan the app again and whatever you took out will be charged to your Amazon account!
