Enchant Christmas in Seattle
I wasn’t sure what to expect when we went to Enchant. I had heard it was a Christmas light display but that’s all I knew. We were totally blown away with how much fun we had and everything there is to do inside! Here’s some things to know before you go and what to expect on your visit to Enchant Seattle.
Know Before You Go:
There is a bag policy in place and you will need to go through a security checkpoint. No weapons or outside food/drink allowed. No large bags or backpacks, with the exception of diaper bags. Dress warm! It is pretty cold, remember this is an outside event even though they do have a roof on the stadium. Don’t worry about the rain but bring hats and gloves!
For specific bag allowances allowed, click here.
Parking
We parked in the Mariners Garage, it was very close and convenient and is $20. There is pay parking surrounding the stadium. If you are military you can try to park at the Coast Guard Base and walk over. It is very close however we have been turned away in events past so its a hit or miss on whether they will allow you to park there (it is FREE).
Tickets
There are two types of tickets: General Admission and VIP. We did the VIP Experience. Military/First Responders/Students receive 10% off any tickets choice! Children under 3 are FREE. General Admission tickets range from $20-40. VIP Tickets range from $55-85. Your ticket will include a specified arrival time. You cannot enter before your time but you can arrive late. Enchant Christmas is open until 10 pm on week nights and 11 pm on weekends.

From the time we arrived in the parking garage, we were truly treated like VIPs. As VIP ticket holders we had a designated entrance separate from general admission with a much shorter line. As a VIP you’ll enter through the Mariners Garage on level 5 for the bridge across to the Club Level. Inside you will check in and we were given goody bags. The suite area has drinks available (water and coffee) as well as beverages for purchase. This is a private area for VIPs only.
We were given sample size portions of all the specialty Enchant food items. My favorites were the Mac and Cheese Grilled Cheese, Smore’s Cupcake, and Pretzel. There are plenty of tables and chairs available to hang out and munch before you head down. There is also an outside viewing area. We were very impressed with the service and the whole experience as a VIP.
Grab yourself the Enchant Christmas signature drink, it was pretty good! It comes in this Christmas Light keepsake cup.
When we headed down we decided to check out the Light Maze first! I had no idea it was a maze, I just thought it was a walk through light display. You’ll get a little postcard with scratch offs, you need to help find all the toys!
Once you find a toy, there will be a station with an area to scratch off your card.
The lights are absolutely beautiful. There’s anything from giant ornaments, trees, walk through presents, and more.
My favorite part was being able to snap so many amazing photos! Even though its dark outside most of the photo spots are well lit because the lights are bright OR there are button activated lights to shine on the photo spot. We saw tons of professional photographers doing photo shoots inside.
My favorite place to take photos was this walk through hanging icicle lights trail. On the inside there are mirrors on both sides to make for great photos and fun to walk in!
If you get thirsty there are drink stations throughout the maze. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available.
You can find a few fun interactive spots inside the maze. These tiles around one of the Christmas Trees lights up as you walk on them.
This backdrop was my second favorite photo spot. There are so many to choose from! I’m a photo junkie, so if you plan to snap some don’t forget to color coordinate! I’ve got some great clothing options for kids and women on my Boutique’s website here.
The ice skating trail is located on the other side of the light maze! If you don’t wish to skate with your party, there is plenty of seating available around the trail so you can sit and watch. There is even a bar area.
Ice Skating
Ice skating is included with the price of your ticket! The exception is the skate rental. You are allowed to bring your own ice skates into Enchant. They must have a blade cover and if you bring your own skates there is no additional charge to skate. Also, if you purchase a VIP ticket versus general admission, rental is included. If you do not have ice skates, it is $5 per child (ages 4-17) and $10 per adult for skate rental.

There are cubbies provided for you to put bags and shoes while you skate but please keep in mind Enchant is not responsible for lost or stolen items. You must also sign a waiver to Ice Skate, you can fill it out at the venue or ahead of time on their website here.
We had a ton of fun ice skating! There is no time limit for skaters.
After skating we went back through the Maze to the exit. This is where you can write a letter to Santa and grab a chocolate from the Elves.
Next we went back upstairs to check out the Christmas Market. Here you can find tons of vendors with all sorts of items. If you forget socks for skating, or if you’re cold and need a hat or gloves, you can grab some up here.
They have the market set up like a little Christmas outdoor market. Lights strung across the ceiling and light poles throughout the area.
They have all kinds of items to choose from in the market, including tons of food options. I highly suggest eating here! Besides all the regular concession stands they have a lot of specialty food vendors. Waffles, schnitzel, soups, fish, chowder, sandwiches and more.
If you have younger kids, take them over to the kid zone for an indoor play place and crafts.
Additional activities include Build-a-Bear Workshop and The Makery do it yourself crafts which are available at an additional cost.
At the other end of the Christmas Market you can find Santa! If you’re looking for a very unique Santa photo, this is the place! The backdrop is gorgeous and is a night sky with a moon. You do not need to pay anything if your child just wants to go say hello to Santa. Prints are an additional cost.
Overall, we had a blast at Enchant Christmas in Seattle! We will definitely be making this an annual tradition for our family. From the gorgeous lights, to the delicious food, and the fun we had ice skating it is a must do!
Also, I’m all about dog friendly (ya’ll know Muffin goes everywhere with us) so on two special dates you can bring your fur babies!
