The Best Black Friday Deals 2019

Black Friday is a tradition in my family. I have never missed shopping on Black Friday, ever. When I was younger and we all lived in the same town (before we were all married and had kids) we would go over to Orlando and get a hotel room at the Florida mall. We would shop all night, take a quick snooze in the hotel room then get back at it in the morning. I miss those days when Black Friday shopping was actually on Friday. Each year stores kept getting more competitive and pushing their opening time earlier and earlier until now, when everyone opens on Thanksgiving Day. If you are planning to shop this year, I’ve got the down low on the best deals at the top stores with opening times!

Target
Opening 5 pm Thanksgiving Day
To my surprise, Target is actually opening before Walmart this year! However, there is no way you’d be able to get in and out of Target and to Walmart for first pick of both. So whatever you want most, you’ll have to hit that store first. Target is having the Amazon Echo dots for just $22, That is a steal! The full size is just $60. We have both and use them daily.

If you don’t already have the new Taylor Swift CD, grab it for just $15! Also these Disney books are a great deal for just $4.

Yes, we still buy DVDs! I like having them in the car for trips. Grab them for cheap every year on Black Friday.

You need to spend at least $50 so you can get this coupon! 20% off of a future purchase, that’s a great deal. I spend $50 at Target on the regular.

I have a weakness for Target clothes and accessories. Sweaters for just $10? Count me in! The scarves will be on door buster for $10 too!

Here is a great deal on Puffer coats, $20 for adult sizes and $15 for kids. Also there will be a ton of shoes on sale for $10-15.

These Sonicare toothbrushes are what we use, and they will be on sale for just $29.99.

If you’re needing some new towels, grab them for just $1.75! Walmart has theirs for $1.60 so super close pricing.

Grab a 50″ 4K TV for just $149! Walmart has theirs for $148, so just decide if you’d rather have a Philips (Walmart) or Westinghouse (Target). Also, don’t forget that Target Redcard holders save an extra 5% on every purchase.

Kohls
Opening 5 pm Thanksgiving Day
Here’s a great deal, the Shark Vacuum for $84.99! We have the Shark and love it. Also dont miss the Amazon Echo show for $49. While it is $49 at Target too, if you grab it at Kohls you’ll get $15 Kohls Cash to use at a later date.

The Echo dot is also on sale for $22 at Kohls! It makes such a great gift for Christmas.

The best deal on small kitchen appliances goes to Kohls. Grab a mini blender, mini chopper, toaster, mini crock pot (great for sauces), skillet, coffee maker, waffle maker, blender, or hand mixer for just $2.14! Keep in mind, this is with a mail in rebate. So you’ll get the cash back later, its not an instant gratification savings.

Pillows are a great deal at Kohls this year. Grab a standard pillow for just $2.54.

Towels will also be pretty cheap at Kohls. Grab some for $2.54 ($1.75 at Target, $1.60 at Walmart).

Need some new slippers? They will be just $8.49!

Clothes and sweaters for her just $8.49, that’s worth at least browsing!

Walmart
Opening 6 pm Thanksgiving Day
Walmart is always the best place to get a new TV. We bought our 55″ 4K TV a few years ago at Walmart on Black Friday for $300. That was when 4K first came out. They are way cheaper this year! You can grab a 50″ for just $148. If you are shopping for an Apple Watch they are going to be on sale for $129. Here is the deal though, Walmart has gotten way more organized and sophisticated to avoid the craziness of people grabbing things. You need to get to Walmart around 5 pm (an hour early) in order to get in line and get a ticket or wristband for the big ticket items. Usually this includes all of the electronics.

Sound bars, DVD players, and Roku’s will also be a good deal at Walmart!

Yes, we have Disney+ but we still like to buy DVD’s. These are what we use in the car and for trips and the cheapest you’ll find them is Black Friday at Walmart! On our list is Toy Story 4 for $3.96 and Lion King for $5.96.

In need of a new Christmas tree this year? This pre-lit 7.5 foot tree is a steal for $68!

Kitchen stuff is always a great buy. We are in need of some more organizing containers! These sets are just $7.

These mini fridges are taking the beauty world by storm. I really really want one…but I’m not sure where the heck I would put it.

This hard sided spinner wheeled carry on suitcase is going to be $39 and available in multiple colors.

Roombas are the new vacuum. Walmart is going to have the iRobot on sale for just $197.

Need some new towels? Bath towels at just $1.60 each and packs of six wash cloths. Such a steal!

One more thing that I always grab from Walmart are the $5 seamless bras, they have these every year. I actually wear these instead of bras with wire, they are so much more comfy!
