What to do in Cannon Beach, OR

Cannon Beach is a gorgeous beach and is actually listed as one of the top ten beaches in the United States (for good reason). It has a cute walk-able town full of small businesses and the Pacific Ocean as well as a river to play in. Read about what there is to do in Cannon Beach (besides the beach).

We visited Cannon Beach for a day trip! You can do it in a day, although it makes a beautiful vacation spot.

We arrived early so first stop was to grab some breakfast and coffee at Cannon Beach Bakery. The marionberry scone was delicious!

Next up we went shopping! Shopping small is a passion of mine (I own a small business personally, Liv & Rory Boutique) and all of the little shops in Cannon Beach are locally owned! Here were some of our favorites:
C & R Mercantile
Cannon Beach Makers
Rachelle M
Four Paws on the Beach
Bruce’s Candy Kitchen

After shopping we grabbed lunch at the Local Grill & Scoop. I had a burger, Travis had a bowl of clam chowder, and they are pet friendly on the patio so Muffin came with us.

We spent the afternoon at the beach, which is breathtaking!

Try to go at low tide down to Haystack Rock, there are tons of tide pools to explore!

After the beach we were hot and drained so we needed a little pick me up before getting on the road again. Travis and Aurora decided on ice cream from Suzy’s Scoops!

I couldn’t resist a Nutella Banana crepe from the Crepe Neptune.
