Sea Life Park
Sea Life park is a fun half day trip to explore sea life and native Hawaiian wildlife up close. It is a small park with big charm only about thirty minutes from Waikiki.
Sea Life Park
41-202 Kalanianaole Highway #7
Waimanalo, HI 96795
Day tickets to the park start at $35 per person. The park is on the small side but there are exhibits as well as shows to explore and see. There are also experiences and animal encounters you can do. If purchasing an encounter check to see if admission is included in the price (most of them include it). I would say to plan for a half day trip here. You can combine it with a hike to the Makapu’u’ Tide Pools.

You get to see the sea turtles up close and personal, which is something you cant do in the wild.
They also have the famous Hawaiian Monk seals. This is an endangered species with less than 500 in the wild still.
Aurora’s favorite part of the park was the touch pool area. They had a baby sea turtle they pulled out and let us pet (so cool!)
We did grab lunch when we were here since we were starving after our hike. The food honestly wasn’t that good, I ordered the Hawaiian BBQ pulled pork. They do offer kids meals and reasonable pricing.
The view of Makapu’u’ from the edge of the park is gorgeous! There is a grassy area to hang out in over here too.
