Resorts to Visit in Las Vegas
What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. Just kidding, we didn’t get crazy. Las Vegas isn’t like The Hangover, really. Call it what you want, sin city, it’s an fun place to explore with lots to do. I could list a thousand things to see in Las Vegas, because there’s literally that many. All of the resorts are beautiful and exquisite but here are a few “Must See” that have some really cool sights, shows, and more!
The Cosmopolitan
The Cosmo is my favorite hotel on the strip. While there aren’t any free activities inside, there are lots of things to do and places to sit and hang out. You must walk up each floor and see the gorgeous three story chandelier from all angles. There are lots of quirky restaurants (also very delicious) and great photo spots inside. One thing I thought was really cool are the art vending machines. These are old cigarette pack machines. There are a few inside The Cosmopolitan and for $5 you can get a piece of artwork. They have jewelry, mystery items, painted blocks, watercolor florals, etc.
The Flamingo
This is a fun and pink filled hotel. Of course you can probably guess, they’ve got flamingos. Aurora enjoyed the Flamingo Habitat along with the ducks , pelicans, and Koi fish. You can also find something I’ve never seen before, a flats vending machine inside. Flats as in woman’s shoes. I guess there are too many ladies that wear heels and their feet start hurting, so here are $20 flats instantly.

The Bellagio
Obviously you have heard about The Fountains. They play every night starting at 7 pm in front of The Bellagio. The show is incredible, how can they get water six stories in the air like that?! Inside you’ll find the botanical gardens whose theme is changed four times a year. It is gorgeous and these are all real, fresh flowers. The Bellagio has lots of nice sit down restaurants and your upscale shops. Right inside the Lobby there is a glass flower installation in the ceiling that is pretty to view and take photos of.

Cesar’s Palace
Besides the gorgeous architecture, Caesar’s offers a large indoor mall with painted ceilings and fountains. The cobblestone and blue skies make you feel like you’re in Rome. The H&M is three stories and has a DJ, which I thought was great. Even if you aren’t a big shopper I would still check it out. They have a nightly animatronics show called “Fall of Atlantis” by the aquarium inside the atrium shops.

Palazzo & Venetian
Like majority of the Casinos and hotels on the strip you’ll find that these two are connected. Head inside towards the Canal Shops and you’ll step into Italy. There is a canal with gondola boats running through the entire hotel. You can ride in the Gondolas for an expensive $27 per person or $200 for a private gondola. They also have gondolas outside which are a little cheaper. The painted sky and Italian architecture inside really look like a street in Italy. There are shops and restaurants on the water if you want to sit and relax or people watch. If you keep walking through you will hit The Palazzo. It has its own botanical gardens and statues, though not as breath taking as The Bellagio.

Paris Las Vegas
One of my favorite places in the world is Paris, France. This is the closest you’ll get to it in the United States. They have a pretty realistic version of the Eiffel Tower which you can go up to the top in, just like the real one. That and to dine inside the restaurant at the top do cost money. Again, this is just a really neat one to walk inside and it truly does look like the city of Paris. The ceilings are painted like the sky, the poker tables are under metro stations, the architecture of the shops is spot on and there is even cobblestone roads.

The Wynn
The Wynn has a fountain show outside, it was fun but is not as popular as The Bellagio. This resort is a beautiful upscale resort and features some amazing gardens inside. Their buffet is the #1 rated on the strip and I agree! it was phenomenal. The Wynn also has a nightly five minute show on their waterfall. You can see it nightly at 6pm, 7pm and 8pm.

The Mirage
The Mirage has a nightly volcano show outside in front of the resort. They also have a really pretty atrium area filled with plants, lots of nice restaurants.

New York New York
If you’ve never been to New York City, here’s your chance to see the Statue of Liberty. There is also a pretty convincing cityscape of NYC. The Hershey’s chocolate store and M&M store are here too, just like the ones in Times Square. Also your chance for thrills, there is a giant roller coaster inside this hotel. We did not have time but I do enjoy roller coasters.

The MGM
The MGM has a bunch of fun restaurants, bars, and shops inside and is across from the New York New York.
