Old Town Scottsdale Food Tour with Arizona Food Tours
Food tours are always top of my list when traveling so I was really excited to find several different tours available with Arizona Food Tours on our trip to Scottsdale. This was our experience and what to expect on your tour.

Arizona Food Tours
Arizona Food Tours offers several different tours: Taste of Old Town, Scottsdale Wine Tour, & Happy Hour Tour. Tours range from $75-90 per person. We personally did the Taste of Old Town Scottsdale tour. One thing I love about food tours (besides the food) is the history you’ll get about the town and the owners of the food establishments you’ll visit. Of course you will enjoy tasting all of the local cuisine too.

The Mission
The ambiance here is amazing! Escape the hot sun and dine in this romantic and quiet spot. Here we sampled a margarita, sangria, grilled street corn and roasted pork shoulder taco. My fave was the grilled street corn, so yummy!
Bootleggers
You can smell this amazing smoked barbeque all over Old Town! I had no idea where the delicious smell was coming from until Zach told us its where we were headed. Bootlegger’s has been featured on Diners, Dives & Drives. Here we sampled the Beef Brisket Hash and some Apple Pie Moonshine. I’m such a whimp at spicy food I could barely eat the hash (but I wanted to soo bad!) The brisket was delicious I just needed it without the jalapenos. I have never liked moonshine in my life and was so surprised that I wanted more of what we sampled! The Apple Pie Moonshine was super smooth and tasty.
Malee’s Thai Bistro
Thai food was something that my mom would never normally try and was a bit out of our comfort zone (another reason why I love food tours, you try new things)! We were both pleasantly surprised at the selection. First we tried the fried tofu with a delectable house made peanut dipping sauce. We also sampled a trio of house favorites (which I completely forgot to snap a photo of) that included: Crispy Basil Chicken, Siamese Kiss, & a Drunken Dragon Lettuce Wrap. Malee’s has a cute photo op outside.
Gelato Cimmino
I always lea towards sweets so I was really excited our last stop was dessert! Gelato Cimmino was y far the best gelato I’ve ever tasted. This authentic Italian gelato is made from ingredients shipped directly from Italy. You will get to sample a few different flavors and decide one two for your cup. I settled on Cimmino Rock & Banana.
