Hotel McCoy: Tucson, Arizona
Hotel McCoy is the cutest boutique hotel in Tucson, Arizona! This pet friendly roadside hotel is reasonably priced, fun for the whole family (including your dog), and offers great amenities. We really enjoyed our stay, here’s what we loved about Hotel McCoy!

I love Hotel McCoy’s Mission Statement: “Travel for all is community, warm hospitality, and reasonable rates with zero hidden fees. It’s travel, for you and for me.” Its location in Tucson is very convenient and close to downtown or Saguaro National Park. Every inch of the hotel is covered in artwork and there were too many photo spots to count! Most of the art was completed by local artists and inside the hotel lobby and rooms there is artwork available for purchase.
Visit Hotel McCoy’s website HERE.
Inside the lobby you’ll find a snack and beverage area, gift shop, bar, and plenty of spots to hang out. If you forgot anything they are sure to have it as a decent price. I was able to find a couple cute souvenirs to take back to my friends too.
At check in you’ll be given a token for a FREE drink at the bar! The hotel bar has local beers and wines, sangrias and ciders. If you prefer non-alcoholic, there are plenty of juice or soda options also available to redeem your toke for.
The best part about the lobby is all of the board games you can play with your family. You can borrow the games and take them back to your room to play, enjoy them in the lobby or by the pool. We liked to play them in the morning while we ate complimentary breakfast.
Complimentary breakfast was available in the lobby daily and offered: coffee, tea, milk, poptarts, fruit, juice boxes and a build your own oatmeal bar. They had the most toppings I’ve ever seen for oatmeal (it’s the longest oatmeal bar in the world)! Oatmeal is made fresh each morning.

Across from the lobby you’ll find a gym, laundry facility, and ice machine.
Outside the lobby there are bikes available to borrow, a foosball table and corn hole boards to play with.
I never book a hotel unless it has a pool, and Hotel McCoy’s is fabulous! It was the perfect way to cool off in the Arizona heat. Certain nights of the week they also offer activities. During our stay they showed the movie “Ratatouille” by the pool.
Muffin really enjoyed his stay at Hotel McCoy! There was a nice Astroturf pet relief area near the lobby.
Every room at Hotel McCoy is uniquely themed and decorated. Ours was spacious and had a retro mini fridge, desk, chalkboard door (that Aurora loved drawing on), hanging rack, bench and a separate sink area and bathroom with shower.
The television in our room was huge! It came with a Roku device so we could stream our favorite shows and movies.
The staff was very welcoming and anytime we needed something were quick to help. When we head back to Tucson, we will definitely be stopping at Hotel McCoy again!
