A Foodie’s Guide to Great Wolf Lodge
During a great Wolf Lodge Vacation, you’ll want to maximize your time at the resort by eating there. They have quite a few food options and restaurants to choose from. In this post I break down our favorites and what is the best to eat!
Lodge Wood Fire Grill: 4-10pm
The grill was our personal favorite for dinner. They are open late afternoon to dinner time and have a bar. There are more pricier options like steak but they also have plenty of reasonably priced items to choose from.

Ordered the Calamari for an appetizer, it was delicious!
I ordered a burger and it was also pretty tasty.
Travis ordered the spicy shrimp pasta. He really enjoyed it, it was a bit too spicy for me.
Grizzly Rob’s Bar: 11 am – 9 pm
If you are at the pool and need a drink to cool you off, head to Grizzly Robs. They have both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as well as some snacks.
The Sippin Safari was my favorite drink!
Buckets Incredible Cravables: 11 am – 7 pm
No need to leave the waterpark to grab a meal. Buckets has plenty to choose from. They even have a giant pizza box full of family nachos, a specialty ice cream sundae with over 20 scoops, and more.
Aurora loved the chicken tenders and fries.
My personal favorite was the Bavarian Pretzel. This thing was huge, really fluffy on the inside, and came with the most delicious white cheese dipping sauce.
Bear Paw Sweets & Treats: 11 am – 10 pm
The sweet spot has ice cream, brownies, cupcakes, popcorn, and more. They’ve even got some grab and go food and drinks.
Now I will say that I don’t think all of these are made in house. I grabbed one of the delicious looking chocolate covered waffles and it tasted days to a week old, so I don’t recommend those. I had a paw pop (cake pop in the shape of a paw) and it was really good.
They have a ton of different ice cream flavors to choose from. The birthday cake was delicious.
If you love popcorn (like we do) then grab a souvenir popcorn bucket! It comes with FREE unlimited refills during your stay.
The Loose Moose Cottage: 7:30 am – 11 am
This is your only choice for breakfast as far as restaurants go, so it can get busy. We ate here every morning and the food is reasonably priced and really good. The plates are large portions and good for sharing.

Travis grabbed the smoked salmon bagel one morning and it was delicious. It is a mini bagel though, so small.
Aurora ordered the pancake breakfast and it was more than enough for her so we shared it.
We also ordered the scrambled egg plate one morning which comes with peppers and potatoes, really good!
Starbucks: 6 am – 8 pm
Yep, there is a Starbucks INSIDE the lodge so you can grab your favorite coffee. They also have merchandise, snacks, and sandwiches like the regular Starbucks do.
The line can get long in the mornings so I’d suggest arriving before 9 am.
We visited during Snowland and each night they had a specialty hot cocoa bar set up. We grabbed a Bailey’s one night and it was a nice hot treat.
Hungry as a Wolf: 11 am – 9 pm
Last but not least, we have a pizza place! Pasta, pizza, and salad, this is your cheapest option for a family meal. Sold by the slice for just $3, you can grab a whole pizza for $16.
I will suggest to check your pizza. The first time we got pizza we ordered it for dinner for the three of us and it tasted DISGUSTING. I couldn’t figure out why, and I’m not the person who says something when there’s a food issue. It is because they burnt the crap out of it. The next day Travis grabbed a slice for lunch and it was delicious. So if it looks like the photo above, you’re good. If it looks like the photo below, take it back.
