Shopping in Snohomish

Historic Downtown Snohomish is one of the cutest towns we have visited so far in Washington! They have so many shops to browse and quite a few local restaurants, bakeries, and coffee shops. Visit this cute town approximately an hour and a half away from Joint Base Lewis-McChord.

We were starving so we opted to grab lunch first. A quick view on Yelp and we decided on the Cabbage Patch Restaurant. This adorable spot is located inside an old house. 

Cabbage Patch is open for Breakfast and Lunch. We were brought some fresh scones upon seating. I decided to get breakfast and the Pumpkin Spice Swirl pancakes were not a disappointment! 

The amount of stores in Snohomish is a little insane. SO. MANY. STORES. Which is great since we love shopping. What I like most of all is that these are all locally owned small businesses. Shop small, not at the mall! We got here early, which I highly suggest. There is plenty of free street parking but by noon it was very crowded downtown and parking was slim.

There is literally a shop for everyone. There are some vintage and consignment shops as well as boutiques. 

Oopsie Daisy is a childrens boutique and consignment shop. They also have a small selection of women’s items.

If you are looking for cute home goods there are also tons of options!

The Cinnamon Stick has the cutest rustic feel and literally smells like cinnamon when you walk inside. Lots of home decor and gifts.

There are quite a few cute clothing boutiques to choose from! Maple & Moss, Mimi’s Shabby Chic Boutique, Hoity Toity Boutique, and Joyworks.

Joyworks was one of my favorite shops to browse. They had a large section of boutique clothing but also a huge area full of booth rental type antiques, handmade goods, and more!

Also, some of you may be happy to know that they keep Christmas decor year round!

Retreat Interiors is a store with a brand new concept, a plant boutique! Such a cute shop, you can find plants, pots, and they even have a make your own terrarium bar!

You pick the glass container, plants, and fill to create your very own plant paradise. 

With antique stores, comes breakables. So if you are bringing the littles along beware, there are TONS! Aurora is pretty good about “look with your eyes” but one particular store we went in had “Do Not Sit” on every single piece of furniture. Of course Aurora wanted to plop down on every couch.

There are also some really fun art galleries. Aurora loves art and wants to be an artist when she grows up, so in we went!

We took a break from shopping to grab a snack. Snohomish Pie Company is the place to go! You can see them making the pies in the window outside the shop. We watched them making raspberry pies while we were in line. So many pies to choose from, and so little room in my stomach after our delicious lunch. 

Seriously you guys, best pie I’ve ever had in my life. Aurora and I chose to get the Apple Berry Crumb Pie and a S’mores Cookie. Um, yes they have cookies too. This photo makes me drool remembering how delicious they both were. You can also buy whole pies and order online here.

I love finding murals and this one can be found downtown Snohomish!

Our last stop before heading out was the river. It was a gorgeous sunny day and perfect to take a stroll.

They have a really nice paved path along the river that runs parallel to the historic downtown area.
