If you’re looking for a quick way to see the top sights of Seattle, look no further than the Show Me Seattle 3 Hour City Tour! This tour is great for those who are visiting and don’t have a car or would rather do a mobile tour versus a walking tour.

This company has several different tours available to experience during your visit to Seattle. We did the 3 hr City Tour which is reasonably priced at $45-65 per person. When I took the tour I had lived in the area for about two and a half years and there were places we stopped that I’d never been! I highly recommend the tour to visitors and locals.

For the first part of the tour you will be in the bus driving around to see some of Seattle’s most popular spots including: Lumen Field, T-Mobile Park, International District, Pike Place Market, Amazon Headquarters, the Waterfront, and more! The bus is nice and air conditioned and we found it exceptionally clean. Food and drink are allowed during your time on the bus. Water bottles are complimentary.

Our guide DC was so entertaining and gave us lots of history of the sights as we were driving by them.

Our First stop was the Commercial Fisherman’s Terminal. Here you will have an option to use the restroom, grab a snack and check out the Fisherman’s Memorial. Many commercial fisherman die every year and their names are placed here on the memorial. The view from the pier with the boats is a beautiful sight of the Puget Sound. Keep an eye out, you may also spot a harbor seal.

Your second actual stop are the Hiram M Chittenden Boat Locks. This is another spot that I had never heard of, and I enjoyed it so much we actually went back another day to explore more. The boat locks are essentially a boat elevator to help them travel between the Puget Sound and Lake Union.

This stop is only about fifteen minutes so you wont have time to watch the entire process from beginning to end but you will definitely have time to check out the locks and peek at them in action. The coolest thing here is the Fish Ladder, especially if you are visiting June – September.

Down below the locks you can find the fish viewing room and Fish Ladder. From June through September each year the salmon travel upstream and you can see hundreds of them making their way through the ladder.

Our next stop was the weirdest thing you’ll encounter on your trip to Seattle, the Fremont Troll. He is a massive troll statue under a bridge in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle. You will get to hop out and snap a quick photo.

Another place I hadn’t ventured that we saw on the tour was some of the historic neighborhoods in Seattle. I really enjoyed driving through some of them and seeing the oldest houses and unique styles of architecture.

Our last stop was my personal favorite, Kerry Park. You’ll get the most beautiful view of the Seattle Skyline including the Space Needle and Mount Rainier (on a clear day). You will have a chance to enjoy the view and snap some photos before returning to your pick up location.
