Waikiki Shopping Guide
Shopping is one of my favorite hobbies. So naturally, we had to do some shopping while on vacation in Hawaii. Plus, the tax is less than Washington, so I was saving money! (that’s what I told Travis anyways). Here’s some of my favorite malls and boutiques to browse in Waikiki.
Royal Hawaiian Center
2201 Kalakaua Avenue
Honolulu, HI 96815
One of the largest and most noticeable malls in Waikiki is the Royal Hawaiian Center. This three story mega mall has a food court, a garden, fountains, live entertainment, restaurants, and TONS of shops. Most of the shops are upscale stores like Tiffany & Co, Kate Spade, Hermes, and more. You can find smaller shops and boutiques inside mixed in with lots of restaurants.
This large grassy area has entertainment on the weekends. Live music, hula dancers, hula lessons, etc. They have a schedule posted on a sign throughout the mall.

The food court dons some really cool and unique eateries. There are also multiple restaurants inside including Cheesecake Factory. Read my reviews of the eateries in my “Foodie’s Guide to Waikiki” HERE.

International Market Place
2330 Kalakaua Avenue
Honolulu, HI 96815
Here is another multi-story mega mall. One thing I love about these malls downtown is that they are open air and filled with green. Green being the gorgeous trees and landscape in between the shops and restaurants. International Market Place has a good selection of shops including some of the normal everyday stores like Free People, Abercombie & Fitch, and Hollister. They also have some unique local shops. Here you can find entertainment and a splash pad for the kiddos.

T Galleria By DFS
330 Royal Hawaiian Avenue
Honlulu, HI 96815
This shopping center is inside and contains a few shops! It’s worth walking inside, though most are upscale. We stopped because most businesses don’t have public restrooms and we needed a bathroom break.

Ya’ll know I’m a big advocate for shopping small, so here are a few of our favorite small boutiques to shop at in Waikiki!

Here is a really cute shop perfect for the kids, souvenirs to take home to the family, and more! This store has tons to choose from including jewelry, trinkets, toys, home decor, photo frames, bags, etc. They are really cheap prices too.

Laule’a/ Lilly & Emma
2142 Kalakaua Avenue
Honolulu, HI 96815
This is actually two stores in one! The front is Laule’a which has an assortment of luggage, handbags, fine jewelry, etc. This is where I purchased Aurora and I’s sterling silver charms for our charm bracelets. (I grab a charm for every state/country we visit). In the back you can find Lilly & Emma. This cute clothing boutique has trendy clothes, t-shirts, locally handmade jewelry, and a fun photo spot!

Angels by the Sea is a great spot to grab matching outfits for the entire family (if you’re into that). They are a bit pricier than the tacky ones they sell at ABC stores but they are something you could wear after you get home. They also have locally handmade jewelry, gift items, decor, and more. Every location has a cute Angel wing photo spot.

Holoholo Cafe & Market
2330 Kuhio Avenue

This cute cafe and market is a grab and go grocery store, coffee shop, souvenir store, and more. We grabbed a few last minute souvenirs and some musubi. Musubi is spam sushi. They have a lot of local Hawaiian made items.
