Wahclella Falls Trail
This trail is a bit of a walk compared to the majority of the Columbia River Gorge hikes since it is not right off the road. But trust me when I tell you that it is worth it, and was honestly my favorite that we stopped at. Here is info you need to know before you head out on the trail.
Wahclella Falls Trail
1.9 Miles, Out & Back
Easy
Dog Friendly
$10 Pass
This trail has a very small parking lot and it tends to fill up quickly. I highly suggest arriving early because there is not much room for street parking nearby. The website to pay is listed on the board at the trailhead, when we visited the pay station machine was out of order.

I found the trail pretty easy but it can get steep in some parts. You walk along the river almost the entire trail so it offers an amazing view.
Closer to the waterfall it opens up to a beautiful spot where you feel as though you are in Ireland. Moss covered rocks and trees everywhere.
Wahclella Falls is absolutely breathtaking. The logs at the base are very slippery so avoid the area or be extremely careful. There are a few spots to sit and eat on the rocks close to the base.
