Hiking: Washington & Oregon,  Olympia

Tumwater Falls Trail

I’ll be honest, this trail really isn’t a hike. Its more like a nice walk. The path is loose gravel but nice and wide as well as stroller friendly. Tumwater Falls is just 0.8 of a mile but it is so beautiful, it’s absolutely worth going!

0.8 Mile Round Trip
There is plenty of free parking at the entrance. Dogs are welcome on a leash. The beginning of the trail has a big dam area with mini falls and a gorgeous restaurant overlooking the water. I want to come back for date night and eat at Falls Terrace, the menu looked delicious.

Tumwater Falls hike is so lush and green. You walk along the water the entire way there and back.

Also, don’t get your hopes up because the waterfall is not a giant one. Its actually small and you cant really see it since its under the bridge. The trail and water are gorgeous though, they are worth seeing!

This is the only spot with stairs and they are big enough to where you could easily pop a wheelie with the stroller.
