Top Five Things to Do & See on Crete
We had an amazing time visiting the Greek island of Crete. Crete is a the cheapest island we visited in terms of food, hotels, tours, and souvenirs. Crete was also our favorite island in terms of delicious food. Here are the top things you must see and do on your visit to Crete!

Elafonisi Island (Pink Sand Beach)
This was our absolute favorite thing that we did on Crete! To be honest, this was our favorite beach that we visited out of all four Greek islands we went to. Elafonisi Island is a pink sand beach located on the Southern part of the island, it is beautiful with crystal clear water and tons of snorkeling spots!

Gramvousa Island & Balos Bay
GRamvousa Island and Balos Bay are two more beautiful beaches to visit during your time on Crete. Gramvousa Island offers Venetian Castle ruins and a sunken ship to snorkel in. Balos Bay offers beautiful crystal clear waters and shallow calm water for kiddos.

Old Town Chania
Old Town Chania is a beautiful city on Crete offering an Egyptian lighthouse, Venetian harbor, tons of shopping, food, and the most enchanting alleys to walk through. Chania is and absolute must visit during your trip to Crete, and you can eat my full post details with locations HERE.
Food Tour with Alma de Creta
The best way to eat and drink your way through Crete is to take a food tour with Alma de Creta! Our tour included a guided walk through Old town Chania to see all of the sights, hear the history, and eat a ton of delicious food. We visited 6+ local food spots and ate the most delicious food we ate on our entire trip to Greece.
