The Best Instagram Photo Spots in Stockholm, Sweden

Stockholm has no shortage of beautiful places in the city take take photos. From medieval streets over seven hundred years old to the gorgeous waterfront, there are tons of amazing place to see. Here are some of my favorite photo spots to check out during your trip to Stockholm!

Prastagatan Street
This is one the oldest streets in the Gamla Stan area (Old Town) of Stockholm. There are tons of old, colorful houses and narrow streets to photograph here.

Stortorget Street
Stortorget is a street located on a beautiful historic square close to the Royal Palace. Located in Old Town, this square has a trio of beautiful old colorful buildings.

Th photo above is the side of the street closest to the colorful buildings where you can see the pretty pink Stockholm Cathedral in the background.

Stockholm Cathedral
Stockholm Cathedral (Storkyrkan) is located right beside the Royal Palace. It is not often that I find a church my favorite color, so naturally we had to snap a photo here.

Stockholm Waterfront
There are a ton of picturesque spots on the water in Stockholm. There are many islands and you can even take a ferry or scenic cruise on the water.

Gilded Crown on Skeppsholmsbron
This crown is mounted on a bridge near the National Museum in Stockholm. It makes a great photo with the view of the water and boats coming in and out.

Drottningholm Palace
Drottningholm Palace is located about forty or so minutes outside of Stockholm but was one of my favorite things we saw! The beautiful Palace and extensive gardens make great photos. Drottningholm is where the King & Queen of Sweden live.
