The Best Instagram Photo Spots at Animal Kingdom
Animal Kingdom has some really great photo spots, especially in the new World of Pandora. Tons of lush forest and of course the Tree of Life, here are where the best spots are and how to find them.
Moss Wall – World of Pandora
This wall is so Insta-famous it has it’s own account. There is actually quite a bit of moss wall to choose from. It is located outside of the Windtrader’s gift shop close to the Flight of Passage ride exit.

The left side of the entrance to Windtrader’s also makes a cool backdrop.
Floating Mountains – World of Pandora
These are the main reason people want to go Animal Kingdom, the floating mountains of Pandora. They are incredible engineering and there are a few spots to choose from for great backgrounds.
First spot is where the Disney Photopass person stands, which is usually busy and crowded, but it is a pretty good shot.
If you keep walking past the photo pass spot, there is a bridge for the ride exit of Nav’i River Journey. This offers a view of the mountains without the crowd.
This shot can be taken inside the ride queue for Flight of Passage. There are several good spots on your way inside to the ride.
My favorite spot to grab of the mountains is the bridge by the ponds. Walk through here in between Flight of Passage and the exit of World of Pandora.
Holiday Mural
I’m not sure if this gorgeous mural of the Tree of Life will stay up past the Holidays, but its worth a stop. It is located across from Starbucks.
Harambe Market – Africa
There are a few cute spots in and around of Harambe Market in Africa.
They have a few of these bikes as props, this one is to the left of the market entrance.
This bike with the fun quote and Lion King Festival posters is across from Harambe Market.
You are Most Beautiful Wall – Harambe Market
This one is a little hard to find. You’ve got to walk into the market and find the sausage counter. Walk past it and there will be an “employees only” door, you’ll spot the wall there! This wall is cool enough to have it’s own IG.

Fichwa Fellow! Mickey Wall – Harambe Market
This cute Mickey painting is to the left of the Harambe Market entrance. It also has it’s own Instagram.

Tree of Life
Most people stop in the front of the Tree of Life to snap a photo, but the best view is actually in the back. When you’re walking through the park keep an eye out for the wooden sign with animals that says “Tree of Life Garden”. Walk past here and you will find the most beautiful view with absolutely no people in the way.
Russel & Doug Statue
This cute pair can be found outside of the Up! Birds Show. By far one of my favorite Disney movies.
Mount Everest – Asia
The best photo with Expedition Everest in the background is located walking from Africa to Asia. You’ll get the water and the mountain in the background. There is usually a Photopass Cast Member here.
Fossil Fueler – Dinorama
This fun fair shot is located inside the Dinorama close to the Dinosaur ride.
When it starts to get dark, make sure you go back to World of Pandora and check out all the lights.
