Kayaking: Lake Tapps County Park
Lake Tapps County Park is a great place to go for boating, water sports, or swimming. We took our kayaks and enjoyed the day on the water. Here’s what you need to know about the area before you go.
North Lake Tapps Park
2022 – 198th Ave. E.
Bonney Lake, WA 98391
The park offers a swimming area, beach area, boat launch, picnic tables, grills, restrooms (real ones not port-o-potties), trails, and covered pavilions. You do have to pay for parking since it is a county run park. Boat launch parking is $15, general parking is $7 and it is $5 for military. The park is dog friendly.

Another great thing here is that they have self serve FREE life vests available for day use.
The lake is huge so make sure you know where you are going. There are lots of islands throughout and the water doesn’t connect between all of them. We used Apple Maps on our phones during our kayak trip.
Finding the fun everywhere life takes us!
