Howl-O-Ween at Great Wolf Lodge

During the month of October Great Wolf Lodge celebrates “Howl-o-Ween”. They have the entire lodge decorated in spooky decor and offer fun Halloween themed activities daily. Here’s what you can expect if you visit in October during “Howl-o-ween”.

The closest lodge to us is Grand Mound, Washington but all of the locations celebrate Howl-o-ween. Their decorations and set ups may vary from our photos though. We had not visited during October before and were pleasantly surprised at all of the fun activities and decorations. The entire lodge was decorated spooky and full of surprises. We particularly loved the stories high balloon spider hung above the lobby entrance.

They even decorated the clock where they have the Great Clock Tower Show! They offer these morning and evening and times can be found under “attractions” on the app. They also had a pumpkin decorating contest on display where you could vote for your vacation pumpkin at the front desk.

They have special Halloween themed activities all month long including spooky crafts, pumpkin decorating and trick or treating.

The water park is still the same fun during spooky season! No decorations in here, but there are spooky specialty drinks available!

Every night they offer Trick-or-treating, so make sure to bring your kids costumes. You’ll grab a bag from the events/activities area and then follow the arrows to collect candy on the trick or treat trail.
