Children’s Museum of Tacoma
The Childrens Museum of Tacoma is a great place to head on a rainy day (which we have a lot of here). I think it has many opportunities of play for a wide array of ages. The best part is that this museum is that it’s actually free!

Admission to the museum is “pay as you will”. You can choose to donate money (any amount) or none at all, its up to you!
Not only do they have many play areas, they also have a really cute art studio! Aurora was able to do some watercolor paintings when we visitied.
The building blocks are great for smaller kids.
This giant airplane type structure actually flaps it’s wings when you pedal!
Water play is always fun for kids! They do have waterproof aprons they can wear.
