Catamaran Sail from Athens with Sailing Adventures Greece
Every island we visited in Greece we tried to spend at least one day on the water. Even though Athens is not an island, it is located on the coast and the beautiful Athenian coastline is definitely worth exploring. We did a half day Catamaran Sail with Sailing Adventures Greece out of Alimos Marina. Here is what to expect on your sail and why you should sail with Sailing Adventures Greece on your trip.

5 Hour Sail
€125
Sailing Adventures Greece offers several different tours. We personally did the “Sail the Athenian Coastline” half day sailing trip. This is a five hour sail with lunch included. Departure is just outside of Athens at Alimos Marina and transportation in not included in the tour. We took a quick fifteen minute Uber to the port for our trip. Our tour was with a small group of people, about twenty total. The captain and first mate were so friendly and made the day really enjoyable. Tickets are €125 per person for this cruise and include drinks throughout your cruise and a fresh Greek lunch.

Upon boarding the boat we had some fresh fruit waiting for us. There are plenty of spots to hang out during your cruise, inside and outside. The boat also has a restroom. Lunch and drinks are included in the cost of your ticket which includes wine.
The water off the Athenian coastline is absolutely breathtaking. It is crystal clear so it makes for great snorkeling. You can borrow masks, snorkels, fins, and noodles during the cruise to use at your leisure. We have our own masks and snorkels that we travel with but we were happy to have fins available to use!
I get asked all of the time how I get these amazing photos (and videos) underwater, I use a diving case and take them on my iPhone! It works great and we have used it on many trips. Shop it by clicking the photo!
The first mate will be busy making a fresh, home made Greek lunch for you to enjoy after snorkeling/swimming. It was delicious! We enjoyed two different salads, pita, tzatziki, zucchini fritters, pasta and some fill dough filled with cheese and spinach.
We had a blast on our catamaran cruise with Sailing Adventures Greece and I know you will too!
