Best Instagram Photo Spots in Mykonos

If I am being honest, the entire island of Mykonos is Instagrammable. Mykonos is the island I pictured in my dreams when I imagined Greece, and it is my favorite town full of blue and white beautiful everything. Here are some of the most popular Instagram photo spots and where to find them.

Greek Churches
There are a handful of beautiful Greek churches scattered amongst the alleys of Mykonos. Just start walking and you are sure to stumble upon them. Some are all white, others have colored domes. I also love the colorful flags that hang in front of them. The one in the above photo is located near Old Port, and the one below is near Little Venice.

Kato Windmills
I love windmills and while there are quite a few on Mykonos Island, the biggest are Kato’s Windmills located on the coast by Little Venice. They did not have the white sheets on them when we visited, but they were beautiful nonetheless. The little shop “Mythos” right beside them is really fun too.

Bougainvillea Trees
You can find these gorgeous pink bougainvillea trees all over Mykonos. Some are fake and some are real. When we visited in August they were in bloom and oh so beautiful. This bougainvillea is by a beautiful blue door and is located right beside Pepper Grill.

Painted Heart
The alleys in Mykonos are all painted with these white shapes to look like big rocks. You can find a little heart painted in the alley leading up to Sephora.

Archétype Souvenir Shop
This souvenir shop is the most picturesque in all of Mykonos. Can you believe they put up all of these every morning?! When we went walking through town around 8 am we actually walked right past the shop not realizing it because it was all empty and white (as opposed to decorated with blue paintings).

I Love Mykonos Stairs
This is actually a path up to a boutique and is easy to miss! They hang clothing on the stair banister and the wall, and there is a lash boutique below it.

#Happiness Store
This fun store is located between Little Venice and Old Port. I love the name and it has some cute t-shirts inside.

Chora Store
This gorgeous home decor store decorates beautifully outside and makes an amazing back drop. I only wish that I had more room in my suitcase so I could’ve brought back some of these gorgeous home decor pieces.

Little Venice
Little Venice is the waterfront area of Mykonos located right across from the windmills. The beach is rocky and the waterfront dining is plentiful. Watch the sailboats come in and out while you snap your photos.

Nice n Easy Restaurant
Speaking of Little Venice, this restaurant is the first one you will come upon on the coast of Little Venice. They have these tables set up right by the water and if nobody is currently sitting there they usually don’t mind you snapping a quick photo. We also ate here but under the nice shaded area (as you can see pictured below).
