Aurora’s 8th Spa Sleepover
With all of our options for parties held at facilities non-existent. we decided to have a Sleepover at the house for Aurora’s 8th Birthday. Not just any Sleepover, a Spa Sleepover. So we had a small group of girls over for a Spa experience. Here is how it went and what we did.
First up, we needed a fun space for the girls to sleep in. We went with teepee tents (one for each girl). sleeping mats, and blankets. Then we blew up 100 balloons, gotta make it a party.
I put together little baskets for each girl. Most of these items I got at the Dollar Tree. They had make up brushes, an eye shadow palette, a facial massager, lip balm, a mirror, a brush, and a bath sponge.
Upon arrival, each little girl got a silk robe and plush spa headband to change into.
Also from the Dollar Tree, I grabbed these dish pans to use for the girls for hot water for their pedicure.
If you’re local, I ordered spa themed cookies from Dani K Cookies. She did an amazing job and they were perfect for the party. They were moist and tasted delicious.

Also local, I ordered the cupcakes and cake from Sweet Treats N More. Check out her website HERE.
Our first spa treatment was pedicures! we filled all of the dish pans up with hot water and a bath bomb for each girl. While they soaked I went around and painted toe nails and fingernails.
Next was facials. I “painted” face masks on each of them. I had wet and rolled up wash cloths and put them in the crock pot on low for a few hours. Once the facials soaked long enough we handed out a hot wash cloth to each girl to wipe off their face.
We also had enough hot wash cloths to put them on each girl’s leg during the pedicures, just like the spa does!
It was a huge success and Aurora (and all her friends) absolutely had a ball!
Finding the fun everywhere life takes us!
