A Stay at Le Chevalier Relais

If you are looking for somewhere to stay during your trip to Riga, Latvia, look no further than Le Chevalier Relais! Here is a bit about our weekend stay and what to expect during your visit.

Location, Location, Location! You’ll find Le Chevalier Relais right in the heart of Old Town Riga making it within walking distance to everything you will want to see and do during your trip. Boutique hotels are always fabulous because they care so much about each and every visitor. Le Chevalier’s staff was so kind and helpful throughout our stay.

Speaking of hospitality, my tripod actually broke in the airport and the staff went out of their way to find me some tape so I could repair it to be able to get these photos!

There are lots of nice seating areas throughout the hotel if you need time to lounge. We hung out here for a while before we needed to head to the airport. here is also a computer for your use if needed.

Speaking of lounging, you can grab a drink at the hotel’s bar, Calvados, during your stay. There is also a boutique full of memorable gifts on the bottom floor, Boutique Le Chevalier.

I absolutely loved the chandeliers and mirrors on the interior of the hotel. I’ve never seen anything like it and we’ve stayed in hotels all over the world.

Our room was absolutely beautiful. From the blue toile wallpaper, to the gold accents, and the thoughtful amenities, the room was put together perfectly.

Aurora and I especially loved the slippers and robes for use during our stay.

We also had a shoe shine kit, shower cap, ear plugs, cosmetic kit, and sewing kit given to us. You never knew when you may need them on a trip!

Breakfast is also included in your stay. Breakfast is served in this beautiful rooftop conservatory. I really appreciated the long hours from 9 am to 11 am because we were able to go out early for activities then come back and grab breakfast before heading out again.

Breakfast is served buffet style but you’ll also get your choice of one hot breakfast item and hot drink. opted for an omelette and Aurora chose the pancakes. Both were delicious!
