Weird Las Vegas: Meow Wolf’s Omega Mart & Area 15
Area 15 is a large warehouse about fifteen minutes from the strip and is full of activities (mostly for adults). So if you’re looking for something unique to do during your Las Vegas trip, this is the place. We specifically went to go to Meow Wolf’s Omega Mart. Here’s what you can find there and details on tickets.
Area 15
Area 15 has multiple indoor exhibits and activities inside. Entry is FREE to the warehouse itself, activities inside are an additional expense. All ages are allowed prior to 10pm, after 10pm the venue is 21+. Activities include axe throwing, golf simulators, multiple bars, an arcade, gift shops, a candy store, a theater, virtual reality experiences, an escape room Meow Wolf, and more!

Meow Wolf – Omega Mart
Meow Wolf owns a few different locations and all of them have a different theme. The location in Las Vegas is called Omega Mart. The only way I can describe it to you is to say it is by far the weirdest place you will ever visit in your life. You’ve got to visit one location at least once in your life. I wont completely ruin the surprise for you, but I’ll tell you a little bit about what to expect. Timed tickets are required for entry, and they are not the cheapest. Tickets range from $45-50 per person and they do offer a military discount.

There is a dress code, and these are for safety reasons. I highly suggest sneakers for shoes. You will want to follow the dress code if you want to use the slides and there are several steep staircases and crawl spaces. They will email you a few days before your ticket time with info on the dress code.
When you walk inside you will be directed to a store associate who will offer you an “employee card”. You can use this card to basically follow a scavenger hunt of instructions and guide you through the “story” OR you can just walk around wherever you want. After we heard that the family in front of us took four hours to finish the story, we decided against doing it and just walked around.
Omega Mart is an actual store, so you can purchase anything you can pick up. Not everything is exactly what it appears to be though. Save your shopping for after your visit since you cannot carry merchandise around the store. I grabbed a pack of nail polish’s and they are highlighters (I love them!)
If you decide not to use the card, walk around the supermarket and try to see if anything will open. OR you can start by walking up the stairs. Either way, just explore. You never know what secret entrances and exits you will find! There are three stories of Omega Mart to explore and two different slides to try out. I will give you one hint, crawl inside the tent.
A side note there are a lot of dark places, small cramped spaces, areas with loud music and flashing lights.
